Because our candles and other products are handcrafted, slight variations in color, appearance, fragrance, or finish are normal and are not considered defects.

If your order is canceled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued.

Shipping estimates are provided as guidelines only and are not guaranteed. Historic Scents Candle Co. is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, holidays, or events beyond our control.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the package has been delivered to the shipping carrier.

8. Product Safety

Candles should always be burned responsibly.

By purchasing our products, you agree to follow all included safety instructions, including:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles away from children and pets.

  • Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface.

  • Keep candles away from flammable materials.

  • Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains.

Historic Scents Candle Co. is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper use of its products.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Historic Scents Candle Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or any products purchased through it.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
