Refund & Return Policy

At Historic Scents Candle Co., every candle is handcrafted in small batches with care. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to ensure every order arrives safely and meets our quality standards.

Returns

Due to the handmade nature of our products and for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on candles, wax melts, coffee, tea, or other consumable products unless they arrive damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the damaged product and packaging

Once your claim has been reviewed, we will replace the item or issue a refund at our discretion.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your financial institution to process the refund.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error or the product arrived damaged.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled if they have not yet been processed or shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Historic Scents Candle Co. is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. If your package appears to be lost, please contact us and we will gladly assist you in working with the shipping carrier to locate your order.
